Privacy Policy
Nouly is a news bot that runs inside Telegram. This policy explains what information Nouly uses, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because Nouly collects little — there’s no account to create and no app to install.
What Nouly uses
- Your Telegram profile basics. When you start the bot, Telegram gives us your user ID, your first name, your username (if you’ve set one), and your language setting. We use these to know who to send your digest to and which language to use.
- Your feed preferences. The country and topics you choose, so we can tailor your daily stories.
- Messages you send the bot. The text you type — like your topic choices or a request to draft a post — is processed to respond to you.
- Basic usage signals. Which stories you open and any feedback you give, stored as simple events so we can improve what Nouly shows.
What Nouly does not collect
No email address, no phone number, no precise location, no advertising profiles, and no tracking of you across other websites or apps. Nouly shows no ads and does not sell your data to anyone.
How your information is used
- Deliver your daily digest and the stories on the topics you follow.
- Translate stories and generate social posts when you ask.
- Understand what’s useful so we can improve Nouly over time.
Who processes your data
To make Nouly work, some information is handled by the services it runs on:
- Telegram — delivers every message between you and Nouly, under Telegram’s own privacy policy.
- Third-party AI providers — Nouly uses external AI services to summarize the news, translate stories, and draft posts. The story text and the messages you send for these features are processed by them to produce a result.
These providers process data on Nouly’s behalf to deliver the service. Nouly does not share your information for advertising or sell it.
How long it’s kept
Your preferences and profile basics are kept while you use Nouly, so your feed stays set up between days. If you stop using Nouly and ask us to remove your data, we’ll delete it.
Your choices
- Change what Nouly follows any time with
/settingsor just by telling the bot. - Stop Nouly by blocking or deleting the chat in Telegram — it stops sending you anything.
- Delete your data by contacting us (below); we’ll remove your stored preferences and profile basics.
Children
Nouly isn’t directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and isn’t intended for them to use.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Nouly after a change means you accept the updated policy.
