A Talkwalker Alerts and Inoreader alternative for keeping up with a subject
Talkwalker Alerts emails you new mentions of a keyword. Inoreader collects feeds and lets you filter them with rules. Both are monitoring tools. Nouly is a reading tool: it follows the subjects you choose and brings you the stories on them, written out in full.
| Nouly | Talkwalker Alerts | Inoreader | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you get | Full stories with their sources, every morning | Emails listing new mentions | Every item from your feeds, filtered by your rules |

Where Talkwalker Alerts and Inoreader are the better choice
For monitoring, such as catching every mention of a brand across blogs and forums, or building rules over hundreds of feeds, these tools do far more than Nouly, and Talkwalker Alerts costs nothing.
Where Nouly is the better choice
- You want to understand what happened, not track mentions. Each story is written out in full, so one read is enough.
- You don’t want to maintain anything. No queries to tune, no feeds to prune, no rules to write.
- You read in another language. Every story is written in your language, wherever it was first reported.
- You want to ask about it. Ask Nouly’s AI a question about any story, or have it draft a post you can share.
Questions
Does Nouly track brand mentions?
Not like a monitoring tool. A keyword in Nouly brings you news stories about it, not every page that mentions it.
Is Nouly free?
Nouly is free to start, with topics from the catalog. Following keywords you type yourself is part of Premium, and you see the price before you confirm.
Who writes the stories?
AI writes them from real reporting, and every story lists its sources.
Read about your subject, don’t monitor it
Nouly is opening to readers a few at a time. Leave your email and I’ll write to you when it’s your turn.
