A Ground News alternative for following your own subjects
Ground News is built to show how differently outlets cover the same event, with bias ratings and coverage counts. Nouly answers a different question: what happened today in the subjects you follow? Each story is written out in full, with the sources it came from listed underneath.

Where Ground News is the better choice
If media bias is what you want to see, use Ground News. Its coverage comparisons and its view of the stories one side of the spectrum misses are the point of the product, and Nouly has nothing like them.
Where Nouly is the better choice
- You follow subjects the front pages ignore. A niche, a place, a company or a sport gets its own stories every morning.
- You want to read the story, not the coverage map. Each one is written out in full, so one read tells you what happened.
- You read in another language. Every story is written in your language, wherever it was first reported.
- You want to ask about it. Ask Nouly’s AI a question about any story, or have it draft a post you can share.
Using both
They do different jobs, so they sit well side by side: Ground News for the big political stories you want to see from every angle, and Nouly for the subjects nobody else follows for you.
Questions
Does Nouly rate media bias?
No. Nouly lists the sources each story was written from, so you can see where it came from, but it doesn’t rate outlets.
Is Nouly free?
Nouly is free to start, with topics from the catalog. Following keywords you type yourself is part of Premium, and you see the price before you confirm.
Who writes the stories?
AI writes them from real reporting, and every story lists its sources.
